i TOOK A RISK

I went to my neighbourhood to post a letter. Then when i was abt to leave, this man came down his van and stopped me.

Said he had a Home Sound Theatre System for FREE to give me ! BUT i only need to give him some COFFEE MONEY ! .

There are 2 of them actually. They are installers or delivery guys lah. Apparently, they went to their supplier's warehouse to get 8 sets of the Theare Systems. BUT the supplier warehouse blur blur given 12 sets. And if they bring back to their boss, their boss will BENEFIT from these 4 sets. So they rather BENEFIT themselves lor.

I offer $400 lor .. but they asked for $500 ..

They even opened a receipt for me, and then even give me their NRIC, also copy down their NRIC number on my receipt and given me their HP number. I TRUSTED and given them $500. One of them said I havnt given him my contact. This sounded even more sincere rite???? SO i given him and i rushed off. Surprisingly, this guy called me after 5 mins, said anything can call him. But remind me not to sell the system if not will get them into trouble etc.

so, I TOOK THE RISK of $500 SGD to buy this system !! But i dun need it. Decided to sell it to my brother who just married. BUT then, i also duno is this system working or REAL or watever !!

Malaysia Trip

Was too rush this time round, did not get to bring the kids out. Hmm but ah-sheng is really so "smart" ! Pull me to the mini-market and buy toys ! Hmm again i bought what he wanted as i simply cant resist kids. Anyway, its reasonable price ba.

Again, my fren's mum cooked Ngo Hiong for me and my favourite kampong chicken soup!! Yummy ! Nite time go to the midnite stalls to eat Nasi Pattaya etc ..

On 1st nite, my Ah-sheng surprisingly wana slp with me. Last time this boi said wana slp with me but back out coz say want to see his mummy. This time round, he insists to slp with this Marcus kor kor whom he so missed .. hehe

Went to Johore Bahru to see my fren's 2nd Brother. After that went to eat SEAFOOD by the sea. The place called KONG KONG. Near to MASAI there. Yummy ! But i still prefer the seafood at Pasir Puteh !

Cut short, went to City Square before approach Singapore. While on the way, saw the NEW MALAYSIA CUSTOM on the way to finishing. Wow, exterior doesnt lose to our SINGAPORE CUSTOM wor. Am waiting .. SMS Ken to ask did he asks Vincent to give ang pao for our fren who was having wedding dinner on the past sunday. Well i gave excuses for not attending coz im going back to malaysia to see the kids, my priority. I know im bad and JIAN not attending my fren's wedding dinner .. haiz. .

I have alrady done a check based on the company names ... and ur shpt is from USA, its too big already. And my system does not show any matching records now.

Auntie Indian

For the past 1 week, we refused to OPEN the door the for my neighbour Auntie Indian. Each day, she can come over to knock hard on my door and window, just to borrow that $10 each time.

I felt so sorry for her. I think she is very pathetic. Big size, white hair, limping so slowly each time to borrow money from my family. I REALLY am irritated by her. Initially my family will lend her the money, but then she really come EVERYDAY to borrow money. When we refused to open the door, she will knock and knock. Then few hours later, she will come back to try her luck again.

The weird thing, or the best thing, IS she will RETURN the money. Once she return the money after a week or so, IMMEDIATELY the next day, she starts to borrow $10-$20 again. Haiz ...

I always think to myself. Who will want to let down her pride, knowing we purposely refused to open the door, and yet still trying her luck. Thinking of this made me feel bad. But trust me, its really irritating at times too . haiz ..

At 11pm, my door was ajar, mum was sitting by the door side. Suddenly mum shouted at me. I turned, and thru the ajar door, i saw Auntie Indian out there. She looks so hopeful. I went up to the door, well i cant be sitting down ignoring. Expected, Auntie Indian asked for $10. I lent it to her. She looks so happy and grateful, said will return to my dad, which she always did. She left.

Then now follow by argument with my mum. Sis and me are against mum. Mum does not like her to come over to borrow money. Said she has her children etc. Well, if her children are good enuff or rich enuff, why would she let down her pride and come over each time.

Last Friday, Mike went to celebrate birthday for "L"ampa ! Waited for sometime before the group could got into Changing Appetite.

I think all had a great meal. Thanks best fren "K"atriya for introducing the Lamb Shank! Really nice ! Others shared food were in the middle ... haiz .. i din have the convenience to grab those food leh !

Anyway, after the meal, we had the cake. The cake came with cherries and Katriya is GOOD lah, he used his tongue to tied a knot with the cherry stem. No one of us can do it ! Katriya must be a damn good KISSER ! We have to buck up !

Wana go Marina South for bowling one. Nicer and cheaper mah! But Jeslyn did not want to go! Spoiler !

NABEI .... the TIGER is really hidden !! The Hidden Tiger Jesslyn showed off his great bowling skills. Wah lau .. all of us were only fries leh .. acting smart infront of this TIGER !! Too bad he is a chinese but not indian .. if not shall call him the TAMIL TIGER !!

Anyway, there was this guy from other lanes who bowl with "supered" skills. Once he released the ball, his leg was pointed high up to the ceiling! I tried to imitate too .. its either i can get thinner doing this stun or i will sprain my waist !

Mike had sold the idea to his customer BUT had tentatively arranged for a normal booking first while awaiting for his customer to call back to comfirm the special service to Bombay india.

Soon, Mike's another GOOD colleage "A"garlily came to his seat, but Mike was on the line. So Agarlily went off. Minutes later, Agarlily came back to Mike with a sheet of paper with all the details like postal code, reference number etc and passed it to Mike.

When Mike called his customer, his customer told her that she had already called in again and spoken to that CHEAPO JIAN HUO Shanti and CHEAPO had arranged for the Special Service to Bombay already!

Mike asked :
Have you told my colleage Shanti that you have spoken to me abt this Special service already.

Customer :
Yah, i told her alrady. She said you are on the line.

Mike :
I see, ok let me take a look have she made the arrangement ok.
